    Hi hibablh,

We sincerely appreciate your inquiry on the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

Based on my understanding of the error message, the issue may arise due to regional restrictions, administrative settings, or insufficient Azure permissions.

Kindly follow the steps outlined below, which may help resolve the issue:

    1. Verify that your Azure services are supported in your Europe region.
    2. Confirm that the options “Allow users to connect to Azure data services” and “Users can use enhanced data sources” are enabled by your Fabric administrator.
    3. Ensure that the user has the appropriate roles assigned (for example, Storage Blob Data Reader, DB Reader) on the relevant Azure resources.
    4. Occasionally, cached sessions cause errors. Please try accessing the system using a private or incognito browsing mode.
    5. Confirm that Microsoft Fabric is active within your Azure environment.

As an alternative workaround, you may use Power BI Desktop to connect to Azure, then publish the dataset to a Fabric workspace for use within Lakehouse/Warehouse.

If you find our response helpful, kindly mark it as the accepted solution and provide kudos. This will assist other community members encountering similar issues.

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to the Microsoft Fabric community.

    Thank you.
