Has anyone had success with mirroring an on-prem oracle db? We are thinking the best path forward is to wait for Microsoft to release an official connector but wanted to see if anyone else had anything in production.

Based on my understanding, there is no direct mirroring functionality in fabric. You can have a copy data pipeline to sync data from oracle database to fabric via a meta data driven framework
Hi @andrewsommer ,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community.
"You’re on the right track with the metadata-driven pipeline, as Fabric does not yet have a native Oracle mirroring connector. As @NandanHegde correctly pointed out that a Copy Data pipeline is the best approach for now. However, Microsoft’s Open Mirroring feature is evolving, and while an official Oracle connector hasn’t been announced, Oracle GoldenGate 23ai currently integrates with Fabric for real-time mirroring. Since you prefer not to use GoldenGate, your best option is to continue with the pipeline approach while monitoring Microsoft's updates for future Oracle mirroring support. Additionally, alternative solutions like Striim’s SQL2Fabric-Mirroring might be worth exploring."
I also recommend adding your feature requests or ideas to Microsoft using the following link, so they can consider implementing them in the future.

Yeah, this is what we are going right now (meta data driven pipeline). I’ve been following the open mirroring developments in preview right now, but I don’t want to go down the GoldenGate road.
I was hoping someone here might have some insight into Microsoft developing a formal connector for Oracle mirroring.
Thanks for your response.
