Oracle Connection with Proxy user
Hello jbaz,.
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.Currently, Microsoft Fabric's Oracle database connector does not support specifying a proxy user in the connection string or UI connection wizard for data pipelines, Dataflow Gen2, or other Fabric components. The supported authentication method is Basic authentication: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/data-factory/connector-oracle-database
If proxy user support is critical for your use case, consider submitting a feature request in the Microsoft Fabric Ideas portal: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Fabric-Ideas/idb-p/fbc_ideas, With enough upvotes, the Microsoft team may prioritize this for future updates.Best regards,
Ganesh Singamshetty.
