Non-stop notifications from a deleted data agent

I did the following:

  • Create a data agent in a workspace with fabric capacity
  • Deleted the workspace
  • Paused the capacity after the workspace was deleted.

Ever since then, I get non-stop notifications like this:

    greglow_0-1769160266100.jpeg

The failed to fetch ones are what normally comes up. I tried resuming the capacity to see if it let it finish whatever it was doing internally, and the errors changed to the ones about permissions. When I paused the capacity again, it goes back to the failed to fetch errors.

The errors are a constant stream, with about one every second or so.

Anyone have a clue how to stop this? Seems a bug.

Weird. The notifications have just stopped now.

Hi @greglow

This is fun.

If you do the same thing in another workspace are you able to reproduce this?

If you can that sounds like a bug. I'm also curious if this deleted data agent was consuming capacity when you were getting those failure notifications.

Have you pernamently deleted the workspace in Admin settings?

Yep, I suspect it didn't delete the agent somehow. The agent was calculating something at the time I deleted the workspace. (It was taking forever)
