Have you followed the guidelines in this Microsoft doc, especially setting up CDC on a collection?
Add MongoDB CDC source to an eventstream - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
When configuring the connector in Fabric, you must explicitly select:
- The database
- One or more collections
If the UI step was skipped or failed to persist the value, the pipeline may start with collection = null.
