Hi guys.

We just switched to real capac ity from the trail.

All our copy actions which took data from fabric dwh to an extern sql dB giving error on the fabric DWH.... not found.

Just to test i switched back to trial and all is working just fine.

What is worng?

The problems was found!!!!

We are using Onprem Gateways and in order for the whole thing to work one need to open some IP's in the outbound firewall. Thos IP's changed when we moved from trial to paid.

That's it.

Hi @YairCzitrom

Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.

The issue you are encountering with Microsoft Fabric copy actions failing after switching from trial to real capacity likely boils down to permission differences. Here some possible reasons which might help you.

Permission Changes: When transitioning from trial to real capacity, there might be stricter permission controls on data access. The service account used for the copy actions might no longer have access to the Fabric DWH in the real capacity environment.

Verify Data Source Permissions: Check if the service account used for copy actions has the necessary read permissions on the Fabric DWH in the real capacity environment. An administrator might need to grant these permissions explicitly.

Configuration Differences: Trial and real capacity environments could have different configurations regarding data source visibility or security settings.

Review Configuration: Compare the configuration settings for data sources and security between the trial and real capacity environments. Look for any discrepancies that might be causing the issue in real capacity.

I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you have any further queries.

Thank you.

Hi there

Tnx for the answer.

The problem with comparing is that one do no have access nor can see the capacity and all that is atached to it when using trial. So i cannot compare all of the above as there is no place for me to check how it is on trial capacity compare to a paid one.

Do you have any ideas of how to do that?

Tnx
