I am currently a student trying to get my Power BI certification. i am doing this through Microsoft Learn, and i have reached the point where i have to access Microsoft Fabric. i can access the free version with my school account, but when i go to sign in, it takes me to a loading screen and never leaves. i am super frustrated about this. has anyone had the same problem?

Hi @zcrespo ,
Circling back, did you get a chance to try the Microsoft 365 E5 trial to access Fabric? If the loading screen issue still persists, could you share a screenshot or error details? That will help us guide you with the next troubleshooting steps.
Thanks,
Akhil.
Hi @zcrespo ,
Just checking in were you able to try the Microsoft 365 E5 trial option to access Fabric? If it worked, you should now have full access for your certification practice. If you’re still facing the loading screen issue, let us know so we can help troubleshoot further.
Thanks,
Akhil.
Hi @zcrespo ,
This behavior usually happens because school/university admins often block self-service trials (including Fabric). That’s why you’re stuck on the loading screen.
You have two reliable options:
Option 1 check with school account.
Option 2 works 100%.
If you’re just practicing for certification, I recommend using the E5 trial tenant route since it avoids the school IT restrictions entirely.
Thanks,
Akhil.

Hi @zcrespo,
It could be that your school admins have disabled self serve trials.
You can sign up for a trial E5 tenant and then from that tenant start a fabric trial:
