Issue with Lakehouse Not Loading

I have three Lakehouses: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

  • Bronze and Silver are working normally.

  • Gold, however, will not load. When I click on the Gold Lakehouse in the UI, the page just spins indefinitely and never displays any tables or renders content.

Interestingly, the SQL Analytics endpoint for the same Gold Lakehouse works without issues.

When I try to access the tables through Spark, I get the following error:

AnalysisException: org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.metadata.HiveException: Unable to fetch table x. Unable to get Table: com.sun.jersey.api.client.ClientHandlerException: java.io.IOException: stream is closed

Just spins forever and doesn't load on just that Lakehouse.

Any ideas?

It might becuase of corrupted metadata. That spark error might be bcz of reading meta data from your database. I would recommend you please wait for sometime or logout and login into your Fabric portal. Then try again.

Still if the problem persists, pls raise a ticket in Fabric portal.

Please let me know if it helps you.

    Thank you!!

I have the same problem, I get two messages: “unable to load” and “Server Error.” Has your problem been resolved?

My problem was first fixed by the MS helpdesk two hours after I reported it. But I have no idea why onelake wasn't working.
