Subject - Guidance on Enabling Action Bar in Embed Report
Hi Suparna,
Thank you so much for your revert.
We would highly appreciate your guidance on the concern below:
We have published reports in Power BI service and bound them for embed report access at the organization level — everything is working fine. For a few reports, we have enabled the report edit mode as well, and that is also working correctly.
Now, we have created some graphical reports that need to be exported in PDF at the embed report side. For this, we want to enable the Action Bar in the report configuration so that the end users can export these graphical reports in the embedded report.
We have already enabled the required Azure AD configuration and have added the following configuration in the embed code:
"settings": { "panes": { "filters": { "visible": false }, "pageNavigation": { "visible": false, "position": 1 } }, "bars": { "actionBar": { "visible": true } } }However, the Action Bar is still not getting enabled in the embed report, and we are not receiving any errors on the code side either. Could you please help us understand if we are missing anything in the configuration or if there are additional steps required to enable the Action Bar?
Looking forward to your guidance.

Hi sarveshnikastr ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
To provide full action bar functionality, you must grant users UserState.ReadWrite.All permission for your application in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).Source:
