How to Retrieve the Value inside the Variable Library of One Workspace to Another Workspace

How to retrieve the value of the key inside the Variable Library of one workspace to another workspace in Microsoft Fabric data pipeline service.

- Directly retrieve it in the Library variables(preview) tab (Per my reseach, only Variable Library within the same workspace as data pipeline item can be used)

- Use "Web" activity type to retrieve the value via REST API (Per my research, no API is currently supported)

There is an alternative way :

Create a pipeline in the workspace having the library :

use set variable activity with pipeline retun value

Now in the workspace where you want the library value , create a pipeline and use invoke pipeline activity :

and the output of that would be the library value

Hello @prempi

Yes, you are correct. you can use varaibale library items in the same workspace, it won't work for one workspace to another workspace. Coming to your 2nd point, yes it's also correct, currently no publi REST APIs support to fetch the varaible libarary values.
