How to Integrate Frontend and Backend for Workload Development Kit

Hi Team,

I have a doubt!

I have my frontend with Figma developed for my Fabric Workload Development Kit.

Now I would like to integrate it with the Backend of Semantic Models developed, to pack it as a Fabric Workload.

How can I do that?

Any good solution and reference documents will be highly helpful.

Thanks in Advance!

Hello @Ashwath_Bala_S,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community.

To integrate your Figma frontend with a Semantic Model backend for a Microsoft Fabric Workload, use the Fabric Workload Development Kit sample repository. Implement your Figma design in the Frontend folder with React/Fluent UI, connect to the Semantic Model in the Backend folder using Fabric or Power BI REST APIs with Entra ID authentication, and package both as a .nupkg for deployment to the Workload Hub via Azure Marketplace.
