Hi Experts!
I am trying to configure a Standard Gateway for a Semantic Model that connects to a file on a Network Drive e.g. X:\NetworkDrive\file.xlsx
However, no matter what I try, I always get a error during the connection test saying my credentials are not valid. The only authentication option available is Windows.
I am able to configure a Personal Mode Gateway, but there are significant limitations which is why I want to configure a Standard Gateway.
TIA!

My suggestions is don't use your Windows PIN. You can use your windows registered account name and password.
for example:
Please try in this way and let me know if it worked.
Thank you!

Hi @suparnababu8,
Thank you so much for your quick response! I am desparate for help here.
I tried your suggestion:
Windows Username: myusername@mycompanyname.com
Windows Password: mysupersecretpwd
But, same result. FWIW, previously I was just inputting myusername without the @companyname.
Any other suggestions?
I have tried putting my domain in front e.g. Domain\myusername
I am out of options.
Apologies. Oh my bad. Don't use email name as username. Just use your windows pc registered name. get it from commmand prompt. if you type whoami in your command prompt. you will get your windows user name and you can enter your account passowrd.
for example your windows username:
password is my windows account registered email id password.
This way it works for me.
Try in this way and let me know if it helps you.
Thank you!

Hi @suparnababu8,
Once again, thank you! I didn't know about the whoami cmd.
I tried and it still doesn't work. Just to clarify. You type in supar, or suparnababu\supar?
Thank you so much! I am trying to rule out all possibilities of user error before I elevate this.
I will use
suparnababu\supar
in windows username section.
Pls try in thos way. Thank you!
