I am building a Fabric data agent based on a semantic model.
1. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/data-science/data-agent-configurations#data-source-instruct... says that Data source instructions instructions provide the context needed to construct precise queries—whether in SQL, DAX, or KQL—so the agent can retrieve accurate information. But when I try to give data source instructions for my semantic model data source, it is saying - Currently data source instructions for semantic models aren't supported.
2. Similarly, I am unable to add Example queries for Semantic models
Can someone let me know why these 2 features are not available for Semantic model based Fabric Data Agent? If these features are in development for Semantic model, can you please let me know when we can expect these features to be available for public preview?

Hi. Right now Data Agents are in preview. That means there are many features that are still waiting to be developed. We can try others for now but that's not the final product.
You can check the roadmap for fabric items in here: https://roadmap.fabric.microsoft.com/?product=datascience
I hope that helps,
P/D I guess one day it will be there.
Happy to help!
