Fabric copilot capacity option not showing

Im super confused with the MSFT documentation for Copilot in fabric/ powerbi . In my case i have  pbi tenant in west europe and fabric capacity in north europe. If i want to use Copilot mainly for power bi only workspaces (ppu) and assign also security group to Fabric Copilot capacity. Do i need or dont need to have this setting on? Data sent to Azure OpenAI can be processed outside your capacity's geographic region, compliance boundary, or national cloud instance. It states that the datacenter is only in the France region so what is the correct answer to this please. I havent seen anyone yet talking about this and when asking gpt or copilot they both sometimes give answer yes sometimes no. Also if Data sent to Azure OpenAI can be stored outside your capacity's geographic region, compliance boundary, or national cloud instance needs to be enabled as well ?

I turned on both almost two days ago and the option is still not showing when i go to capacity settings

Also there is one more thing im not sure about 

what region does this mean? Is it the one i find when i go in pbi service help -> about power bi ? and that one should match the region of the capacity region in azure ?

Hi @peterkach 

As per this limitation, I don't think ot will work. Becuase, your Fabric capapcity in North Europe and PBI tennet is in West Europe. 

In this case you can check with Fabric Support team to help on this.

Yes you are correct, you have to turn on the settings for the mentioned points and also you need to enable the option for your users under tenet settings for this  "Users can use Copilot and other features powered by Azure OpenAI" 

Pls check below setting shoudl be turned on from your tenent settings before using co-pilot features. Red color markete settings you need to turn on from the below image and already you turned on for grren color marked settings

Once you done this, miniumum you need to wait minimum 24 to 48 hours to reflect the changes. Please read this ablog for more information. Copilot Initial configuration settings | GizmoHopper.com It might helps you.
