I created a Fabric Warehouse. I added a new tab in the Model view and dragged several tables/views into the layout. After adding another view, I get an error that "Unable to sync the warehouse with the default Power BI dataset. Some reports may not be updated. To try to repair this, refresh your browser and open the warehouse again." and the newly created tab disappears. I close the DW and refresh the browser. When I open the DW and go to the Model view, the only tab is "All Tables"
When will I be able to create layout tabs in the Model view in Fabric??
Hi,
I just tried, created multiple tabs and they were kept in place. You can notice on the image below.
However, the error you got seems similar to something I got in a lakehouse. I know it's different but the process of synchronizing with the default dataset is similar.
Could you check these two buttons on the reporting menu to see if everything is correctly synchronized with the default dataset ?
I got a situation before where the dataset was not accepting some tables because the data type of some fields. If this is your case, you will get a better error message on the buttons below and will be able to work around the problem:
Check the button "Manage default Power BI dataset" to discover if it's synchronized or not and try to fully synchronize using "Automatically update dataset".
Kind Regards,
Dennes
