Fabric Trial Capacity limit

Fabric Trial Capacity exceeded limit. Is it possible to restart Trial Capacity?

As I understand, it is possible to restart production Fabric Capacity (Pause and Resume). How about Fabric Trial Capacity?

No this is not possible with a trial capacity.  Trial Capacities are fixed and time-bound: you get 60 days of usage (plus extensions) with limited compute resources.

Once usage limits are exceeded (e.g., hitting resource or time caps), you cannot restart or reset the trial through the UI or standard admin controls and there is no pause/resume option for trials.

Hi @JānisB ,

Fabric Trial Capacity works differently from production capacity. Unfortunately, you cannot restart or reset a Trial Capacity once it has reached its usage limits. The pause/resume functionality is only available for paid capacities, not for trial environments.

What you can do:

  • If you need more time or resources, consider requesting an extension through your Microsoft account representative (if available).
  • Alternatively, you can upgrade to a paid capacity to continue working without limitations.

Let me know if you’d like help exploring upgrade options or optimizing usage within the trial limits.
