Hi Folks,
Can someone please share info on Fabric Rest API ?
1. CU consumption, if any ?
2. Rest API rate limits ?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Using the API does not consume any CUs from your capacity.
API throttling is per user, per endpoint.
Please mark this post as a solution if it helps you. Appreciate Kudos.

Hi. I don't think the rest api consumes CUs. The operations that you run are the ones consuming. For example, triggering a refresh from API, it's not the API request consuming but the refresh actually running.
You can read how the API is structured in here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/fabric/articles/api-structure
Each request has different limitations. Some of them have rate limits and others don't. It depends on each request.
I hope that helps,
Happy to help!
