Fabric Data into AI Search in AI Foundry

We are currently trying to connect Lakehouse tables from Fabric into AI Search in AI Foundry but currently it appears that just Lakehouse files are supported via the OneLake connection. With that said, has anyone successfully connected Fabric data into AI Search and therefore AI Foundry?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @abaranow,

Thank you for being a part of the Microsoft Fabric Community. Thank you @suparnababu8 for  providing the links to refer.

Currently, Lakehouse tables are not directly supported in AI Search. However, you can try these workarounds:

Export tables as Parquet/CSV files and store them in OneLake. AI Search can index files in OneLake, so converting tables to files enables search functionality.
Explore the OneLake Indexer (Preview) for Azure AI Search. This feature may support structured data indexing, but it is still in preview, so its capabilities need to be tested for Lakehouse tables.

If this solution worked for you, kindly mark it as Accept as Solution and feel free to give a Kudos, it would be much appreciated!

Sahasra.
