Hi,
Is there a way we can bring fabric data agent as a chat window in power bi dashboard/browser.

@ann33 ,
Great follow-up. As of now, there’s no direct connector or SDK bridge between Power Apps and the Fabric Data Agent. The agent doesn’t expose a public API or SDK output that Power Apps can consume natively.
That said, here’s a workaround you can explore:

Hi there,
That's an interesting idea, embedding a chat interface directly into a Power BI dashboard for natural language queries. While the Fabric Data Agent itself isn't designed as an embeddable chat widget, you can achieve similar functionality with custom solutions. I've been exploring this by integrating a conversational AI assistant directly into dashboards, which allows users to ask questions in plain language and get instant insights without leaving the report.
If you're looking for a practical example, I recently shared a demo on LinkedIn showing how this can work seamlessly inside Power BI, without requiring additional Copilot licenses. You might find it helpful to see the approach in action: [LinkedIn demo](https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7438407183161065472).

Hi @ann33 ,
Right now, there’s no native way to embed the Fabric Data Agent as a live chat window directly inside a Power BI dashboard or browser view. The agent is designed more for structured Q&A over datasets, not as an embeddable widget.
That said, here are a couple of workarounds you might explore:
Microsoft might expand this in the future, but for now, it’s more of a hybrid solution.
You can keep an eye on updates here:

Thank You for responding. Is there an integration option for power app with data agent/ data agent sdk output?
