Hi, saw this https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Fabric-platform/Execute-Queries-via-API-using-Fabric/m-p/4...
Now more than a year has passed and this still hasn't been implemented?
Hi @evgenyg, I checked Ideas forum and couldn’t find any feature request that resembles this, so, as adviced by @tayloramy I suggest raising it as a feature request in Microsoft Fabric Ideas and get as many upvotes as possible, that would bring it the notice of the Microsoft and may get implemented as a feature.
Hi @evgenyg,
If you want to raise this as an idea/feature request, please post an idea here: Fabric Ideas - Microsoft Fabric Community
If you found this helpful, consider giving some Kudos. If I answered your question or solved your problem, mark this post as the solution.
You cannot directly execute queries via the Fabric API yet — that feature isn’t supported at this time. Instead, you can trigger a Pipeline run using the Fabric REST API as a workaround and put your query logic inside that pipeline. The REST API lets you automate and manage pipelines programmatically.
Here’s the official Microsoft documentation for Fabric REST APIs:

Hi Rafyda, thank you for your answer. But this is not suitable for me. I need to get data in python.
@evgenyg If this was a feature request, can you find it in the list of Fabric ideas and check if it collected enough votes? If not, the likelyhood it is not in the roadmap which you can also check here http://roadmap.fabric.microsoft.com/. Not all community ideas get into the roadmap.
