Error when refreshing dataflow – Mashup Exception Error
Hi everyone,
I’m encountering an issue while trying to refresh a dataflow in Microsoft Fabric. The refresh fails with the following message:
“Couldn't refresh the entity because of an issue with the mashup document.
MashupException.Error: We're sorry, an error occurred during evaluation.
Error code: 999999. (Request ID: 99582466-d3bd-4e6d-847d-f9dd7ffaa633)”
Has anyone experienced this error before or knows what typically causes it?
I’ve already checked my data source credentials and connections, and everything seems fine.
Any guidance or troubleshooting steps would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Martin Wambui
Take that Request ID and stuff it into a ticket to Microsoft

HI martymwas,
Everytime I've encountered this it has been related to connections not working or credentials changing/expiring.
If you have already checked those, then I agree with lbendlin that raising a ticket to Microsoft is the best course of action. They will be able to look into the backend logs to see more details.
If you found this helpful, consider giving some Kudos. If I answered your question or solved your problem, mark this post as the solution.
