Error 404 when connecting to Lakehouse through OneLake Data Hub in Power BI Desktop

Hi, I am creating a dataflow Gen2 that sucessfully load data into my Lakehouse as Delta Table. The Tables appears correctly in the Lakehouse, and Dataflows Gent2 referesh work. However, when I try to connect to the Lakehouse the the OneLake Data Hub in Power BI Desktop, I get the error "The remote server returned an error : (404) Not Found", The strange thing is that I am connect sucessfully using the Semantic Model of the same Lakehous. I want to understand why one Lakehouse Data hub gives a 404 error while the semantic model works, and what step I am missing to make the Lakehouse tables appear correctly in Power BI Desktop. Any guidance would be appreciated. Hi @Hizqeel

I replicated your scenario, it's working for me. I'm able to conenct with my lakehosue tables.

You are gettign error "The remote server returned an error : (404) Not Found" mgiht be due to folwloing reasons, pls check once follwing

  • Your need to update your PBI desktop with latest version.
  • if it's working for sematicmodel and not for onelakle datahub, it means that, lakehouse tables require the SQL endpoint or it's updated for connector support. make sure you’re on the latest PBI desktop build and connecting via the Lakehouse SQL endpoint typically resolves this issue
