Enable CI/CD already created dataflow gen2
- 1 year ago
A few days ago, I observed this feature. I believe it was released recently. We can now save Old Data Flow Gen 2 as the CI/CD-enabled data flow,
and we can also incorporate the CI/CD-enabled data flow into the pipeline. Therefore, there is no requirement to submit an idea.
Unfortunately CI/CD can only be enabled during the creation of a Dataflow Gen2.
If you want to enable CI/CD for your 50 dataflows gen2 itesm, you will need to recreate them with the integration enabled. Pls see the below reply from community support.
I'm sharing the thread that helps you below.

Thank you for your reply. I also researched this and could not find any solution. Eventually, I found my resolution. I created a new empty dataflow, copied all the tables from the old dataflow, and pasted them into the new dataflow. Fortunately, it has been working.
However, I don't understand why this is being released as a new feature. It should be an update to the existing data flow. They are doing many things like that. They release CI/CD to enable dataflow as new features, yet that new dataflow cannot be added to the pipeline. Additionally, we can create new schemas in the lakehouse, but we can select schemas as dataflow destinations. With this kind of issue, we cannot plan and manage the environment properly. ☹️
