Hej,
Some of you may know that if you have a created a custom Semantic Model from a warehouse, it is currently not possible to edit the tables and columns in the model. This is a huge problem and a deal-breaker.
Microsoft is currently working on it on the 5th day now, and still nothing (link below). And with so many issues, this might not be solved before a long time.
My question. Has anyone found a workaround, so we can edit the tables and columns?
Currently, I have to create new Semantic model, copy all the measures to the new model, and re-link data source in the reports.
Hope someone found a fast workaround.
Best regards,
Sompop

I just found out that Tabular Editor could be used as a workaround. Just if anyone could not wait until release date of fix.
Hi @sk_few ,
There is currently no available workaround.
Microsoft has confirmed the issue and they have stated in Re: Can't open the "edit tables" when I'm editing ... - Page 2 - Microsoft Fabric Community case that they will deploy a solution by September 7, 2024.
