How do I solve this issue?
I have DEV - UAT - PROD environments.
Most of the notebooks developed in DEV, have been promoted for the first time to UAT and PROD by "PersonA". Now, I and "PersonA" are admin of everything pretty much, but he is the owner of items (pipelines, notebooks) in UAT & PROD, and I am not.
When I want to set or update some deployment rules I get this message: "No rules available because you're not the owner of this item". "PersonA" has left the project, what are my options?
Is there any way for me to add some deployment rules on these notebooks?
Can we move the ownership of the notebooks to a group instead of a person?
Or, do I have to re-create everything in UAT & PROD?

Hi @arlindTrystar ,
Thanks for reaching out in Microsoft Fabric Community,
Since the ownership of these notebooks and pipelines in UAT and PROD is still assigned to "PersonA," here are a few steps you can take to resolve the issue:
1. Reassign Ownership
If you’re an admin in the workspace:
Using a group or service principal for ownership is a good practice, as it avoids future ownership problems if someone leaves the team.
2. Reactivate PersonA's Account temporarily:
If possible temporarily reactivate PersonA's account .This allows you to reassign ownership of the notebooks and pipelines to yourself, a service principal, or a security group. Once the transfer is complete, the account can be deactivated again to maintain security and compliance.
3. Recreate the Items
As a last resort, you can export the notebooks and pipelines from the DEV environment and recreate them in UAT and PROD under your ownership or a shared group. While this takes more effort, it ensures you have complete control over these assets moving forward.
