Data Activator has stopped evaluating your trigger

Hi All,

 

Receive "Data Activator has stopped evaluating your trigger" in my mailbox and the detail is

Activation Time: Feb 08, 2025 14:00:00 UTC NotificationType: Activation.MaxDelayReached

 

UID: 32457052

 

Any idea about this issue?

Usually that means your trigger hasn't triggered in a defined amount of time. What's the definition for the trigger?

Alright, I have created some triggers for testing and set an end date that is > 1 week ago. I guess that causes the email to trigger.

Should be fine then.

Hi @SupportSW,

 

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.

 

The notification you received occurs when the Data Activator has not received any new data for the trigger in the past 7 days, causing it to automatically stop evaluating triggers if no relevant data is received within this timeframe.

  • Check if the source system is sending new data to Data Activator. If no new data is arriving, the trigger will not reactivate.
  • Restart the trigger manually by disabling and re-enabling it in Data Activator.
  • Once review the trigger conditions to confirm that they are not too restrictive.
