Crossfilter function in Fabric semantic model measure issue?

I am using a measure, that is having crossfilter function in it and the filterdirection is set as None. This measure runs without any issue when I use SSAS model and we are using this measure since very long, but when I connect with Semantic model from Fabric, it

throws an error as:

image.png

While searching for the error, it gives results as there is an issue with RLS and fabric  does not allows the use of crossfilter or userelationship function because it exposes data which does not follow RLS. Just for testing purpose, I have deployed the model without RLS, but still it gives me the same error, seems like the problem is not because of the RLS.

The semantic model has been deployed using updated tabular editor directly in the fabric workspace having PPU capacity.
Does anybody has any idea, where the problem is?

Thanks in advance.

You would have to check the query plan to validate that assumption.

I also have outer filters, which i believe limits the crossfilter to scan less number of rows. I am not an expert in query plans of vertipaq engine, but I hope the outer filter has an effect on the number of rows from the crossfilter function and then it would be far less then 1M rows in context.

You would have to check the query plan to validate that assumption.

Does the crossfilter result in more than 1M rows?

Hallo Ibendlin, yes the crossfilter results more than 1M rows.

That will hit the limit set in the Capacity management section. It is not recommended to increase that limit, it is there for a reason.
