Creating Artifacts

Is there any way to create artifacts (NB,Pipeline, DF, Datasset, etc) in the current directory (L6 from the sample). If I do it from the UI, the artifact gets created in Root and then needs manuall...

    frithjof_v folder is a good value addition to workspace.

    On PC if you click on the context menu to create a file, it creates the file on the same folder that you are currently in; such as root>Documents>Fabric>DesiredFolder

    The same thing does not happen when you try to create an artifact(e.g. notebook) by clicking on the Workspace Menu; It would create the notebook in Root and then you manually move it back to WSDesiredFolder UNLESS you make a copy of the similar existing artifact from the current WSfolder and SAVE AS, then it creates the copy of the artifact in the same WSfolder.


    I will stick with this for now; small price to pay.

Hi smpa01,

Current it seems not support to setting the detail folder path of the fabric artifacts when you create it. (manually operations and API all note support) Perhaps you can try to submit an idea for this requirement.
