I want to connect Oracle Database with Microsoft fabrics
How can connect/install On-demand data gateway
Solved! Go to Solution.
@wahmed20 - Thanks for the question and using Fabric Community.
Microsoft Fabric supports many on-premises and cloud data sources, and each source has its own requirements. To learn how to add and manage an on-premises data source, go to Add or remove a gateway data source.
By following above document I'm able to create on-premise data gateway and able to connect oracle database.
For more details, refer to Data source management.
Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.
The questions was -> How can we pull data from Oracle to Fabric. However, whatever the answers are provided as of now, are not relevant. I am also strugling with the same situation.
I am trying to connect SAP ECC, OData Link, Oracle and more. unfornunately, did't find these connectivity in the Microsoft site as well.
Pipeline can be built anyhow, but connectivity is the main challenge. I kindly request to Microsoft Team please release the documents on how to build the connectivity with other frequently used Data Sources.
