Cannot create Dataverse - Microsoft Fabric connection

When I try, I receive this message:

Even though I do have a trial license.

This has been resolved. Turned out that it was something on the Microsoft side that they had to "unblock". Here's the email I've received from them:

Go to admin portal and check for the capacity and region.

Usually the workspace region is equivalent to the ENtra region

Below are the requirements for the Fabric link to be created:

1) You need to have a premium workspace created (not my workspace) in the exact same region as the dataverse.

Can you plz confirm the both whether there is any Prem workspace and the regions are the exact same?

Thank you! Checked: Dataverse region is Australia and Fabric is Australia East

As the regions across dataverse and Premium workspace are different, you are unable to create the fabric link

The thing is that the name of regions in Fabric and Dataverse are different. Fabric ones are aligned with Azure (e.g. Australia East, Australia Southeast, etc.), while Dataverse regions are country based (like Australia, United States). It is impossible to choose more precise datacenter in Dataverse.

The error message in the thread is different from mine. Mine does not refer to the locations at all, it complains about lack of licenses (which I have)

Hi, no, there's no resolution yet. I've created a support ticket and the issue has been confirmed by support specialists.

I have a trial workspace in Fabric. How can I check which region is it?
