Cannot connect Synapse serverless SQL pool to Power Bi

I am trying to connect my Synapse Serverless SQL pool to Power BI. Every time I try to connect it I get the same "error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server" message (seen below). ...

    Turns out our software was blocking the IP address. Thank you everyone for your help.

I currently have it set to allow all IP addresses. I also tried allowing the current IP address I was using and I got the same result.

Are you able to connect directly to the Serverless SQL Endpoint from within Power BI?  This can be found in the Azure portal for the Synapse workspace.

    No, I was not able to connect using the Serverless SQL Endpoint, when I try this, I get the "Named pipes provider" error seen in the image on my original post

        I am working from home today and I was able to connect Power BI on my network. The work network must be blocking Synapse. I will bring this up to the IT department and give an update tomorrow.
