I found, that we cannot enable the "Lakehouse Schemas" option for an already existing Lakehouse unless we create a new one? is this true because When I try to create a Materialized Lake View it gives me a syntax error (PARSE_SYNTAX_ERROR] Syntax error at or near 'MATERIALIZED') whereas it works for a Lakehouse with Schema enabled.
What are the alternatives to the same?

As per my understanding there is now aletrante solution for enabling the schema for existing lakehosue. You need to create new one with schema. We may expecte this feature in future as per Micrsoft Fabric Blog.
