Hi,
When we open Notebook in Fabric, can we firstly default it as View only. I sometimes only want to recall or check some existing code, but end up "accidentaly" changed something. I know I can change it manually, but it would be nice if the default is View first.
Hi @VoltesDev ,
Currently, Fabric does not have a built-in feature to set the default mode for opening a notebook to “View Only”. There is an alternative to manually changing your notebook to “View Mode” every time you open it.
When your role in the workspace is Viewer, open the notebook in “View” mode.
In addition to this, you can also submit feedback on Home.
If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me.
Best Regards,
Yang

Hi thanks I submit the idea.
Thanks for role, however seems not efficient for it will make more difficult when I then want to edit it. So the editing also needed. 🙂
