Azure SQL DB: Fabric Mirroring - public preview

According to this Roadmap Fabric Mirroring is supposed to be available in Q1 2024:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/release-plan/data-warehouse#mirroring,

As it currently says on this "Public Preview" I was wondering how this is meant: is the public preview coming in Q1 or is the feature currently in Public Preview and will be GA in Q1.

If it is in preview already I was wondering how to test it!

Hi @chris__1 this is currently in private preview, so based on the roadmap MS are looking to move it into public preview sometime Q1 2024 (subject to the private preview being successful)

Hi. Our company wants to try Azure SQL DB: Fabric Mirroring, but it is still in private preview, when it will be in GA ? Because till it is in private preview we can not use it prod environment. We would like to make a PoC, but wondering should we invest time and effort till it is not in GA.

thanks for clarifying @AndyDDC

looking forward to testing this feature!
