Yes, you can absolutely recover them. Microsoft Fabric features a built-in Workspace Recycle Bin specifically designed for item-level soft delete and recovery. When a user deletes a semantic model or a report from a shared workspace, the assets are not permanently erased right away; instead, they are held in a soft-deleted state for a default retention window of 7 days (which your tenant admin can extend up to 90 days).

To restore both the semantic model and the live report back to active status, open the specific Fabric workspace where the items were deleted and click on the Recycle Bin tab from the main workspace menu. Locate your deleted semantic model and report from the list, select them, and click the Restore button. This will instantly bring both items back into your production workspace, completely preserving all of their original data connections, user security access permissions, lineage configurations, and report layouts without breaking the live setup.
