The Data Heroine

My name is Cláudio Cardoso, and it is an honor to submit my sticker design for the Fabric Community Sticker Challenge – Atlanta 2026. But more than a design, I bring a story — a deeply personal journey built on curiosity, perseverance, and love.

I have always been passionate about data. Even before I had tools, frameworks, or formal methods, I explored information in raw, rustic formats, driven by the belief that every number carries a story waiting to be revealed. My academic background is in Agronomic Engineering, and throughout my career, data has been a constant companion. Still, my transformation into a true data professional came from an unexpected yet extraordinary source: my wife, Nathália.

Nathália — a brilliant scientist and engineer — is not a data analyst by profession, but she has always been the person who challenges me, inspires me, and pushes me to grow. Excel became my second passion. My first has always been her.
And it was through her encouragement that I learned, evolved, and became the analyst I am today, even without holding any official certification. She questioned my solutions, joined me in late‑night calculations, and believed in my potential when I doubted myself. As the Marketing Director of our landscaping company, she trusted me with every insight and every piece of analysis that could shape our future.

For this reason, my sticker pays tribute to her and to all the women who illuminate the world of data — whether they are analysts or not. They are thinkers, mentors, supporters, innovators. They are often the silent force behind discoveries, dashboards, and breakthroughs.

I proudly call her “The Data Heroine.”
She might not wear a cape or spend her days inside BI platforms, but her impact is undeniable. She is the reason I analyze data with confidence today. She is the one who made me believe I could do it. And through this challenge, I hope other women in the global data community will feel encouraged, represented, and proud to carry this sticker as well.

This submission is not just about a design; it is about honoring the people who make our journeys possible. It is a gesture of gratitude — to Nathália and to all the heroines who transform lives through inspiration, support, and knowledge.
