I consider myself a survivor. I escaped the war in Sudan, moving from city to city, leaving my homeland behind. Today, I live in the UK with my husband and five children, who survived the destruction alongside me.
Despite the challenges of displacement and motherhood, I immersed myself in the world of data over the past two years. I discovered a passion for Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. Power BI reports, in particular, captured my fascination, and I excelled in creating insightful and impactful visualizations.
I became actively involved in the Microsoft community and later in the Fabric Community. I found joy in sharing knowledge, writing articles, organizing events, and leading user groups as a User Group Leader. I embraced problem-solving, supporting fellow members, and eventually became a Super User. I share everything I learn on LinkedIn, aiming to inspire others to grow and explore technology.
I am proud to have been recognized as the top-ranked woman in Sudan across all fields and fifth overall, reflecting my commitment to community motivation, learning, and leadership. I manage a thriving tech community of over 500 members called Data Projects, where I help members implement projects, guide them, and encourage them to earn certifications. Thanks to the support of the Microsoft community, we provide vouchers for those who complete projects, motivating learning and achievement.
I hold multiple Microsoft certifications, including PL-300, DP-600, DP-700, DP-900, AI-900, and DP-900. These credentials symbolize not just technical expertise but also resilience, determination, and the power of learning as a path to survival and success.
Living in the UK for two years, I navigate life as a mother of five, often constrained by responsibilities. Yet, from the quiet of my room, I’ve explored the world, planned, executed, and thrived. I am proud of all I’ve learned and achieved, and I am excited about the future.
