Now that maninpulating geospatial data with the Esri component is available, visualisation is quite limited for Notebook users.
Please could you look at supporting kepergl widgets for really super flexible visualisations of dataframes that have geometries (points, lines or polygons) on top of basemaps
I want to emphasize that this would not be a replacement or competition for visualising outputs of data engineering in PowerBI or ArcGIS - being able to effectively visualise during the data engineering process is critical for iteration as you scale operations like joins - kepler enables quick diagnostic visualisations that you're achieving what you're setting out to.
it should be very easy to install and run (in either a python or a pyspark runtime - installation seems to work already, but the widget does not render in the browser:
Leaflet maps works, but please could you look into enabling keplergl, like databricks mosaic library has done? (they even implemented a magic shortcut for it - see here: Kepler visualizations — Mosaic).
