source control panel usability - change panel size, allow sort/search/filtering
The source control panel within a lakehouse lists all notebooks that are new or updated and its not easy to tell at a glance which one(s) you are looking for. The only fields available are the Item name and Status, and the full name is not visible without hovering over each when there are several similarly named items.
They do not appear to be listed in any kind of date or name sequence, and it is not possible to widen the panel or scroll horizontally to see the full notebook name.
Ideally it would be possible to make this panel configurable in size (full window width would be great), and provide extra meta data columns such as the timestamp and user for the last edit, the parent folder, and allow searching/filtering/sorting on these additional columns. This would make it easy to find and process items when there are many outstanding changes.
