Data sharing between large organisations (that are often bound by maintaining older systems) is often achieved via SFTP, so I believe this functionality will become invaluable as time passes and more of these larger organisations start using PowerBI. This is especially relevant when using PowerBI Gateway - the ability for the gateway to reach out to multiple places and retrieve data from an external party (since the gateway is sitting externally anyway) would be invaluable.

Please consider this functionality before it gets to 1000's of votes!

From a user perspective, this could simply be the same as 'Open File' connector, except with sftp:// being allowed as a source path!

SFTP connectivity would be extremely helpful as our HRIS and related systems can be trained to drop routine reports into system adjacent SFTP locations. Please add this connector!
