Remove boarders from reports objects. When you hover mouse over report object then this frustrating frame appear its often overlap other reports object. Could you resolve it in other way?

- lance_witherid1New MemberThis should be configurable - there are some objects you don't want users to be able to interact with - text boxes for example - and these should have no borders
- cristhian_neumaNew MemberSlicers should not have hover too.

Impactful Individual
Agree. At the very minimum, please let us disable hover on specific: 1. Slicers 2. Text Boxes 3. Images Many of us aren't that creative with our designs because the more images you include, the more objects will highlight, which is a horrible visual experience. - daniel12

Agree - this is really annoying - especially in PowerBI embedded scenarios. - buckaroobonzaiNew MemberWhat they said .... very annoying and detracts from presentation desktop or embedded (especially embedded)
- travis_hamillNew MemberI completely agree that this is a feature in desperate need of attention. In the meantime, I have come up with an approach that somewhat reduces the impact, especially if you are able to consolidate visual items that users don't need to interact with in a single area of your dashboard. We have created a single UI item with no background fill, stretched it over the items which should not have borders, and then sent those items to the back. This creates only 1 visual item which displays a border. Not perfect, but MUCH cleaner!
- gustaf_ednerNew MemberIt could work as in reports that are published to web which completely changes the overall feel to the report. Example: https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=eyJrIjoiMDRmZGI1YzktODQyYi00ZjEzLTlmMzktMTNkNmI2MTg1MThiIiwidCI6IjU3NGMzZTU2LTQ5MjQtNDAwNC1hZDFhLWQ4NDI3ZTdkYjI0MSIsImMiOjZ9 Unfortunately publishing to web is hardly and option in enterprise environments due to security concerns as the reports are available to anyone with access to the link. Please fix this for both web and the Win10 app!
- gustafednreNew MemberSame as this? https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/12247677-optionally-remove-focus-mode-box#comments Could they be merged?
- mvp4New Membertransferred my votes to https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/12247677-optionally-remove-focus-mode-box#comments Can you merge ideas ?
- mvp4New MemberAgree with comments, should be configurable on each element with : -disabled by default for textbox, filters, images, etc. -enabled y default for any data element (for backward compatibility)
