Power BI tries to be helpful and "normalize" text for performance and sorting, but in environments like mine (SAP, audit-grade data, routing metadata) that behavior destroys fidelity.
Text casing from SAP (e.g., START OPERATION vs Start Operation) is being auto-normalized in Power BI desktop and service. This breaks forensic accuracy and visual trust. We need a simple 'Preserve Source Case' option in data load or column settings.
