member properties ssas

Currently it's not possible to show the member properties of a dimension. For creating reports some of the metadata is stored in member properties and needed for reporting questions.

I have Latitude/Longitude information as member attributes of a level of a geographical hierarchy and I can't seem to expose them to the map Lat/Long fields in PowerBI desktop. The ability to do so would be very convenient. Any ideas?

Showing properties would tie in nicely with tooltips, at least in our case.

You can access member properties by using a direct MDX query, although this is not suitable for non technical staff.

The Cube.AttributeMemberProperty M function is poorly documented and does not seem to work at all. Please either provide valid examples of use - ex with intrinsinc member properties - or fix this function. In my context, multidimensional cubes are the main source of data for Self-Service BI users, and we need PowerQuery to better handle this source type.

In our cubes handling financial data we, for different god reasons, store the meaningfull descriptive texts for dimension members in a properties and without being able to render those properties as labels in the ui we can't use power bi. Prefered would be to be allowed to concatinate properties like property1 + " - " + property2

Up. This is still a problem even after three years. Cube processing takes hours because we need to aggregate by every attribute, since we can't access member properties through a live connection.
