improve performance of field search on connected SSAS Cubes

Our SSAS tabular cube has > 5k fields (measures/columns) and it is very slow to use the search function with a 10-30 second delay. This delay often happens halfway through you typing the search terms also which makes it a double wait.

We have the same issue. If you search for something beginning with e or a it will take the time to to highlight almost every field in the model. It should not kick in until at least 2 or 3 characters are entered, and maybe an option to disable completely.

The Search box in the Fields ipane s desperately slow. I have >2k measures and it takes tens of seconds to find a field. I would like an apply button so that PBI does not start to search till I've finished entering the search term
