Allow copying conditional formatting from one cell to another in the same matrix row.  It is so frustrating!  I have columns of values for 48 month8.  I have to set rules for each one to see if it is below, within, or above a set of values. If it matches the value, it's green, if it's below, it's yellow, if it's above it's red. Currently, Power BI does not support displaying Top N positive and Bottom N negative values in the same visual without complex DAX workarounds. It would be extremely useful to have a native option in bar charts to display, for example, Top 5 increases and Top 5 decreases based on a measure, while respecting slicers and filters. Please make it possible to interactively run a Notebook as a Workspace Identity, Service Principal or Managed Identity.   Purpose: This would allow us to connect to resources that our personal user account doesn't have access to. This would allow us to interactively test notebooks using the Workspace Identity, Service Principal or Managed Identity before we include the notebook in a pipeline. As a report author building stacked, table-like visuals, I need: 1) The ability to specify exact column widths numerically (px or character width) for Table and Matrix. 2) In Matrix, an option to fully hide the row-header column (or designate a hidden key) so it doesn’t wrap or affect row height. 3) Consistent persistence of manually set widths when fields are replaced in Values. Today, achieving a table-like Matrix requires workarounds (unique row keys, SELECTEDVALUE measures, shrink row header), which adds complexity for an aesthetic requirement. In Fabric it would be nice to have even more flexibility on triggers in the activator.    We often want to have one frequency around month end closing, where we want to extract sales and finance data with a high frequency -> maybe every hour, this would maybe be +- 5 days of month end. I have 2 queries that run in sequence that read from my Fabric data warehouse.  The queries are different and should yield different results but when they run, they actually return the same data.     Query #1: DECLARE @StartingDate DATE = DATEADD(YEAR, -10, DATETRUNC(year, GETDATE())); select * from rpt.vw_DimGLAccount where [GL Account Key] in (SELECT F.ExpenseGLAccountKey                     FROM gold.FactPayrollHistory F                          JOIN gold.DimDate D ON F.PeriodEndDateKey = D.DateKey                     WHERE D.CalendarDate >= @StartingDate);   Returns 2365 rows as it should Query #2: DECLARE @StartingDate DATE = DATEADD(YEAR, -10, DATETRUNC(year, GETDATE())); select * from rpt.vw_DimGLAccount where [GL Account Key] in (SELECT F.LiabilityGLAccountKey                     FROM gold.FactPayrollHistory F                          JOIN gold.DimDate D ON F.PeriodEndDateKey = D.DateKey                     WHERE D.CalendarDate >= @StartingDate);   Should return 67 rows but returns the same 2365 rows as the first query.   If I run these in reverse order, when the second query returns the same results as the first one run.   It looks like the DW optimizer thinks these 2 queries are the same.  It doesn't recognize that the the queries have different column names in the subquery.   If I change the "select *" in each query to a "select count(*)", the numbers returned are correct.  When I then change the "count(*)" back to "*", it returns the same result for both.   Also ... the process with this logic has been running successfully in production since May 2025.  It is only in the last few weeks that this has been a problem.  I've tested this with other keys that reference the same dimension and can consistently re-create the issue.   When the second query runs, it notes that it is using cached results. ... Microsoft added or revamped the "design experience" down to two options only: Power BI and Fabric. Fine. Suggestion #1: Get it to REMEMBER the state I left it in when I closed the browser. I'm starting to drift toward the Fabric experience, but I have to SELECT it every time I open the browser.   Seggestion #2: I like that I can have multiple Workspaces available in the left side navigation. But when I click on one I was hoping to have it OPEN SAID WORKSPACE, NOT give me a hierarchy view which includes ALL OPEN Workspaces. I have to now FIND the workspace I JUST CLICKED ON in that side navigation, and CLICK IT AGAIN. Just open the workspace for me! Even if there is only ONE workspace open, it is still TWO CLICKS to get to the full workspace view.   In the Power BI Experience, ONE CLICK on the Workspace in the side navigation brings up that workspace.  ... The only way to update a group name is to double mouse click the name.  Would be good to have the normal other ways to perform this action available too :} So option in the Groups popup and right mouse menu functionality needs to be added. But when selecting a measure or calculated column, there is no visual indication of which measures, columns, or tables are referenced in its DAX expression. Developers must read the DAX manually or use View Dependencies in a non-visual tree view or external apps like DAX Studio or others Desired behavior When selecting a measure or calculated column in the Fields pane, Power BI should visually highlight: Referenced measures Referenced calculated columns Referenced base columns Related tables Just like it already does for visuals. Essentially like what you get for "Filters on this Page", but instead of the page, it allows you change filters once for a group that all has the same filter.
