Please add native support in Microsoft Fabric (Power BI, Paginated Reports, or future Fabric visuals) to allow report authors to embed and display: Lottie animations (.json format) Animated GIFs Short looping videos (e.g., .mp4, .webm) These formats can help bring data stories to life, making dashboards more engaging, accessible, and memorable. 🔍 Why It Matters: Lottie offers lightweight, scalable animations for dynamic visuals (great for loading states, KPIs, onboarding). GIFs are widely used for quick animated icons, status changes, or emotional cues. Short videos can provide richer storytelling, e.g., product demos, animated maps, or timelines. 🎯 Example Use Cases: Animated brochure or interactive leaflet with live data and branded motion design Dashboard sections like "Congratulations" or "Warning" with animated icons Engaging storytelling (e.g., year-in-review with animated transitions per metric) 📦 Suggested Implementation: Add support via a new certified visual OR extend existing visuals like HTML Content, Card, or Image Viewer Allow JSON uploads for Lottie Add autoplay and loop settings for video/GIF controls Provide On/Off toggle for low-resource environments (performance safe) 🛠️ Current Workarounds (but limited): HTML Content visual (Lite/Full) for Lottie or GIF via inline code PowerPoint export with embedded media (static only) External app integration (e.g., embedding animated React dashboards)
