Fabric currently supports custom Environments for PySpark notebooks, but Python notebooks (preview) cannot use them. In Python notebooks, the only available kernels are Python 3.10 and 3.11, and the only way to install packages is via %pip install, which is session‑scoped, not reproducible, and not aligned with Fabric’s managed environment model. This creates a major gap for teams who want consistent dependency management across both PySpark and Python workflows. Request Please add support for: Custom Python environments (similar to virtual environments) Attaching those environments to Python notebooks Managing Python‑only dependencies through the Environment UI This would bring Python notebooks to parity with PySpark notebooks and enable reliable, repeatable development without %pip workarounds. Sometimes, when looking at connections in Manage Gateways and Connections, it's difficult to remember "what's this data source connection being used for"?   It would be good if we could add descriptions to connections, so we can use it as a note for our future self about why this connection was created.   This will in turn be useful when doing connection cleanup (deleting existing connections), for which there isn't really any good solution today to know what a connection is being used for. ... Adding Page-Level Conditional Formatting Rules in Power BI, a feature that allows users to define one rule and have it automatically applied across all visuals on the page. Ideally, it should also support applying the rule across all fields in a row for consistent, row-level highlighting. I’m suggesting this idea because I’ve personally struggled with managing conditional formatting efficiently in my reports. When I need consistent highlighting across a dashboard, for example, marking negative values or high-risk records, I have to repeat the same formatting steps visual by visual and column by column. This becomes time-consuming and hard to maintain. This feature would also help address another limitation: Power BI currently doesn’t support row-level conditional formatting. Dataflow Gen2 previews become very slow when a query contains several heavy merges. Right now, the only way to keep developing smoothly is to output those merges to a table and continue the work in a separate dataflow, or switch to notebooks.   If we could stage (freeze) a heavy query during development — and have it only refresh when an upstream step changes — then all downstream queries could reference that staged result instantly. This would make development much faster and let us continue building calculated columns and transformations inside the same dataflow.   This could work in the same way staging already works for refreshes, but applied to development previews to avoid recomputing heavy steps every time. ... Many Power BI reports contain links to dead pages as manually checking hyperlinks is a tedious task Power BI cannot scan or crawl hyperlinks embedded in report text. There is no native or supported tooling to extract and validate those links automatically. Validation would require manual review or external processing after exporting and parsing report metadata. Please add the ability to auto-save (or even manual save) in Power Query for Excel for the web.   I love that Power Query is now available in Excel for the web. My biggest hangup is that the combination of 1) no Power Query edits are saved until Close & Load, and 2) session timeouts in Excel for the web,  means losing work if you don't remember to Close & Load. Add option to format visual section allowing developers to manually adjust the rotation of axis labels. Currently labels only auto rotate if labels are too long and chart is too small. I have scenarios where all label text must be visible but I do not have flexibility to decrease the size of my visual. Currently, in Power BI’s Matrix visual, the Format Visual > Column Subtotals setting applies to all measures in the visual. There is no option to selectively enable or disable column subtotals for individual measures. This limitation can lead to confusing or empty subtotal columns for certain calculated measures (such as MoM% Growth), where subtotals are not meaningful.
