There's currently no way to control the number of decimal places on the Distance to Goal of the Target Label in the KPI Card. While preparing for the DataViz World Championships, I spent a significant amount of time testing accessibility with NVDA. During this process, it became very clear how important tooltips are for understanding a report, especially when combined with a logical tab order for users with limited vision. Tooltip pages are extremely helpful and visually rich for sighted users. However, in my testing with NVDA, tooltip pages were not accessible at all, as they are interpreted as images and their content is not read by the screen reader. One possible improvement would be to add an alt text field at the page level specifically for pages defined as tooltip pages, with support for dynamic text.   This alt text could describe the tooltip’s purpose and content based on the current context or selection, making the information accessible to screen reader users while preserving the existing visual experience for others. Dear Microsoft Fabric Community,   I would like to request some improvements for Gantt Chart (version 3.0.12.0) for project/milestone reporting:   1) Add option to show up to 3 hierarchy levels of categories in Milestone reporting (ie ungrouped hierarchy levels). 2) Add ability to toggle on and off milestone lines for the Gant Chart (see screenshot below - each milestone has dashes which makes the visual congested) 3) Toggle on and off Milestone labels of Gannt Chart.  Potentially include auto formating to move labels and have a line from the milestone icon to the label. 4) Ability to format Milestones based on data input eg specific  colour for Completed, In-progress,  Yet to commence, delayed etc.   This would greatly improve Gantt chart functionality for Project management.     Thank you for the consideration for this request.   Best Regards, Mir ... Please add the ability to hide or control the visibility of sub–X‑axis labels when using hierarchical axes. Currently, Power BI forces the display of the lowest‑level category labels, which limits the design of clean visualizations. Can we have appropriate names for TMDL scripts? If I drag the Semantic model into TMDL view, I want the tab to be called Semantic Model by default, not Script1.  If I drag the top-level Tables into TMDL view, I want the tab to be called Tables, by default. Ditto for Measures. Anything lower in the tree than that should have its own name by default, i.e. the table or the measure name. One of the most annoying behavior of report designers is to rename fields in visuals in cryptic way without standards and you won't understand at a first sight which field from which table had been used.     AFAIK (without using any external tool or power bi project - just staying in PBI Desktop), the only thing you can do is to hover fields with the mouse and look at the tooltip that shows you the original field/measure home table and name. for further anlaysis you need to move to the data pane and search it manually. Wouldn't it be nice to have a "Go to definition" that points the referenced field/measure in the data pane that you can activate directly in the context-menu right-clicking the field?     ... Synchronizing filters when slicer data selections differ   Currently, slicer synchronization works only when both slicers contain identical data. However, there may be use cases where we want to synchronize filters even when the selected data in each slicer is different. The goal is to have a setup where selecting a value in one slicer automatically selects a predefined corresponding value in the other slicer, even if the slicer data sets are not the same. Proposed Synchronization Approaches: Option 1: Predefined Value Mapping Create a predefined mapping between the values in both slicers. When a user selects a value in one slicer, a corresponding predefined value in the other slicer will be selected automatically. This can be achieved through DAX logic or using a supporting table with relationships to drive the selection behavior. Option 2: Overlapping Slicers with Hidden Layering Place the two slicers on top of each other, matching their size, dimension, and design. Configure them such that selecting the first item in the top slicer triggers selection of the first item in the bottom slicer (and so on). Set the top slicer’s transparency to 0% so that it hides the slicer underneath, effectively making the user interact with only one slicer visually while syncing both behind the scenes. ... View more

Hi, my organisation uses Power BI's Bing maps to visualise geographic data. We noted the current maps are being retired in favour of Azure Maps.    At present, users of Azure Maps can restrict the data residency, processing and storage to a specific geographic region. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-maps/consent-management?source=docs However in Azure Maps Power  BI Visual, users outside USA/Europe must agree for their data to be sent offshore for processing in order to use Azure Maps. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-maps/power-bi-visual-manage-access   This may impact ISO certified organisations that are unable to send their data offshore for processing. It may force organisations to look for alternative software options if they wish to visualise geographic data without sending data to USA/Europe for processing.   Can Azure Maps Power BI Visual be changed to allow data residency, processing and storage to a specific geographic region consistent with Azure Maps itself?     ...
