Instead of creating a separate file and using audiences to hide pages, it would be helpful if, possibly as part of the Page Properties for a PowerBI report page, you could use a formula to set visibility.  For instance, if you had an annual report and were in Q1 and had a separate page for Q4 information, it would hide the Q4 page from the report for the year until the Today's date noted we are in Q4 for the reporting year.  IT would help to cut down keeping multiple report versions, as we have enough dynamic maintenance to take care of through things like RLS without having to republish the report in a slightly different voice each time. ... The requirement would be to provide access to the below areas whilst not providing access to the other areas in the Admin portal:   Areas to provide access: -Tenant Settings (the only app permission provides to much access ('Tenant.ReadWrite.All' )) -Usage Metrics -Users -Premier Per User -Audit logs -Workloads ( api permissions grants access to all ) -workspaces   Whilst not providing access to the rest of the admin portal.     Currently Its not possible via custom roles as this is unsupported, and via API permissions they are not granualar enough, for example ( 'Tenant.ReadWrite.All' for tenant settings )   There is granular permissions in Fabric however to get access to all the required areas would mean granting Fabric admin which also grants access to areas that the users should not get access.   Ideally we need a way to more granually assign API permissions or enable the use of custom roles for Fabric.   ... In one of our dev data pipelines, the conenction to a source was unable to be established.  The expected result is for this to stop the job and report the failure.   The Copy action failed, as expected as it did not have access to the source.  Unfortunately, the copy action also continured to run and overwrote data in the sink/destination table with blanks as it could not retrieve data from the source.    Data Pipeline - Copy actions should not be able to continue running after it is unable to establish a connection with the source.   ... If possibile, Microsoft should enhance the Fabric Capacity Metrics app by adding a visual that displays workspace-level capacity consumption alongside artifact-level consumption. It would be extremely helpful if Power BI Desktop allowed users to open multiple windows or split views—similar to how Excel allows multiple workbooks or split panes. Currently, Capacity Metrics are only available for Power BI Premium and Fabric capacities. However, users on Premium Per User (PPU) often face performance and memory-related issues without visibility into resource usage. When users try to use a query that include *select, FROM, JOINS function in the command, they will recieve a timeout error message. Currently the stored procedure activity has a retry count which is helpful as there are often brief connection/network/access failures which can cause a proc to fail on the first attempt.  The Lookup Activity can also fail on the first try so a retry count would reduce the times you have to go back and manually re-run. ... Power BI is constantly evolving.  But that evolution is poorly communicated.  I usually find out about changes when I try to update or refresh data in a report and something breaks.  I manage a SOX control that uses Power BI.  It has to work, PERIOD!  To open the desktop app or to open the report and find out some change has nerfed my report is terrible.   Oh well!  We have to stay up to date with the latest security requirements.  We have to enhance this, that and the other thing.  GREAT!  Make sure the changes are communicated and the transition managed so my reports don't break.  Give me the path to moving to whatever the new requirement is insteand of simply breaking my current solution.   C'MON...users shouldn't find out about changes when they can no longer use their current version.  We should be better than that. ...
