Currently if I need to alter a dataset it requires deleting it and recreating it completely. It would be nice to be able to alter datasets as needed (e.g. adding or removing tables, columns, etc.).

Right now the API allows us to create basic schemas. It'd be nice to be able to define more complex data models through the API but most importantly relationships.

When you implement a model with role based security the security rules only apply when the model is browsed interactively via reports. Dashboards do not honor this security when they are shared, so a user could see data that they are not entitled too.

The "Share" icon right to the Dashboard name appears like a "Refresh" button. That should be made somewhat different than a Refresh button.

It would be great to query and compare two (or more) different data sources by a unique key, such as email address or phone number. This would make Power BI incredibly powerful.

If a data column is formatted as URL it should be rendered as URL in all appropriate data visualizations, including Power Q&A table output.

The new Data VIsualization as Power View can be directly used by end user to create their own reports. Also, We can propose some predifine report. The development tool is Visual Studio. It's enable to manage the source code and to facilitate the deployment on different environment.

Sometimes data sources such as JSON could have both records and lists within the same column. This could be because of poor data structure. Currently BI designer does not provide a means to distinguish between which cell is a list and which one is a record. column

Can we open up Power BI to allow other creative thinkers out there to create new visualizations that can be posted on Power BI dashboard? As long as they have certain parameters (Name, chart types (visualization types), input data, scale, whatever, etc.) they can call API that can draw that visual to be displayed in Power BI. This opens up creative ways to display data and allows Power BI to be extensive and flexible.

What if I want to see statistics on my outlook emails on a dashboard? how many emails I received per day, per week, over last month, group by alias group, etc. # of sent, spams, emails, etc. my quota compared to others, etc. nothing sensitive would show up here, just simple statistics as compared to others who also opt in to have their outlook statistics pulled.

this is something similar to the scroll on the BING.COM homepage toward the bottom. so imagine I am a visitor to a main page where there are many links to other Power BI sites. I can use the quick preview link on the bottom to preview the sites. Also, this can be used in the Power BI Designer where I can quickly preview the Power BI dashboard that I am building before it is being deployed. I want to preview to see what it looks like if I were to deploy the content.
